As part of society’s efforts to allow disabled people the opportunity to fully integrate themselves into society as an active participant through being productive members of the work force, the DDA or the Disability Discrimination Act was passed. This requires the business community to allow the disabled to have an equal opportunity to join the workforce by having their business processes and infrastructure altered to make this a possibility. At the center of these efforts, a company named Inclusion has been hvocational rehabilitationy providing occupational therapy solutions such as disability access audits and Vocational Rehabilitation. These programs help quantify the accessibility of the company to the disabled as well as give the disabled a greater capacity to help themselves integrate seamlessly and productively. The DDA is nothing more that a statement, and it takes real effort such as the one exerted by companies such as Inclusion to make this dream a reality.
